On Saturday evening, during the ongoing annual Navaratri Brahmotsavams of Sri Venkateswara Swamy at Tirumala, Sri Malayappa Swamy appeared before devotees on the Gaja Vahanam.

The procession of the deity on the vahana was conducted with grandeur, accompanied by the sounds of traditional musical instruments. Majestic elephants led the procession.

Devotional groups entertained the devotees with bhajans and Kolatams, while the Jeeyangars offered sacred chants. Many devotees offered camphor harathis along the route, enduring the rains to seek blessings from Sri Venkateswara.

The Gaja Vahanam represents majesty, royalty, and richness. Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, and TTD Chairman Sri B.R. attended the event.
