Manisha from Hyderabad has organized a Bommala Koluvu, a display of dolls, to illustrate Indian Puranas and their themes. This exhibition highlights the unique aspects of our culture and traditions.
She initiated this Bommala Koluvu in 1991, starting with small stories. Since then, she has continued this tradition annually.
Currently, the display has expanded to encompass epic mythological narratives. Key episodes from various Puranas are presented through the doll arrangements.
Manisha aims to foster awareness among today's youth about these Puranic tales through her elaborate exhibition.
