The Minister clarified that this disaster is not limited to Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, or India, but will have a global impact. He criticized opposition parties for blaming the Congress government without understanding the gravity of the situation.
Thummala Nageswara Rao called it shameful to attribute the El Nino disaster to the government. He advised farmers to plant short-duration crops due to the current power shortages across the country.
He urged farmers to opt for short-term crops instead of long-term ones. The Minister emphasized that this is a nationwide issue and should not be politicized.
