Residents of Narayankhed constituency in Sangareddy district are concerned about the reduced water levels in the Singur and Manjira projects. These projects are the main source of treated drinking water for 160 nearby villages.
The region is currently experiencing severe drinking water difficulties. The lower water levels are causing disruptions in the supply.
Locals report that only three out of six motors at the Borancha Pochamma temple are working. This is further affecting the distribution of water to the areas.
Villagers are asking officials to address the drinking water crisis promptly and implement necessary measures to restore a steady supply.
