The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is expected to file its second and final charge sheet in the NEET-UG 2026 question paper leak case within a week. This case has caused significant concern among students and parents nationwide.

According to Namasthe Telangana, media reports indicate that the CBI will not name the central government or officials from the National Testing Agency (NTA) as accused in this case.

Namasthe Telangana reported that the accused will only include subject experts appointed by the NTA, coaching center operators, middlemen, and candidates.

The CBI has already filed one charge sheet in this case, and the upcoming filing will be the second and final one.

This development raises questions about the transparency and credibility of the NEET-UG examinations, which are crucial for students aspiring to pursue medical education across the country.

Thousands of students from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana appear for the NEET-UG examination every year. The filing of the final charge sheet and the identification of the accused in this case will have implications for the future of students in these regions.
