The Meteorological Department has predicted moderate to heavy rains in Telangana for the next five days. With the entry of the Northeast Monsoon, heavy rainfall is expected across Telangana and other southern states.
The Hyderabad Meteorological Center announced that due to the influence of the Northeast Monsoon, several districts in Telangana are likely to experience thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds from October 15 to 19. Some areas may also witness heavy rainfall.
Specifically, on October 15 and 16, districts such as Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Khammam, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Nalgonda, Suryapet, and Mahabubabad are expected to receive thunderstorms and lightning. Gusty winds are anticipated to blow at speeds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
These rains are expected to bring significant relief to the people of Telangana, especially farmers. The much-needed water for crops will be available, and the weather will become cooler.
