The NTR district police have announced a schedule for verifying original bonds submitted by AgriGold depositors, beneficiaries, and agents. This process, set to begin on October 19 at the Regional CID office in Vijayawada, aims to facilitate the processing of claims.
The verification will take place at the Regional CID office located in Tulasi Nagar, Third Road, Kanuru, Penamaluru, near Ria Orthopaedic Multispeciality Hospital.
The exercise will be conducted from 10 am to 5 pm on the scheduled days. Concerned depositors, beneficiaries, and agents have been asked to visit the designated CID office with their original bonds for verification.
According to a press release issued by the NTR district police commissioner’s office on Friday, the schedule covers three mandals in the first phase of this verification drive.
This initiative is a crucial step towards addressing the long-standing issues faced by AgriGold victims. Thousands of depositors and agents across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are hopeful that this process will help them recover their investments.
