Palamuru Police have issued crucial security tips for people preparing to travel to their hometowns with family for the Dasara festival. They urged travelers to strictly follow traffic rules and also pay attention to home security during their absence.
Two-wheeler riders are advised to wear helmets, and those traveling in cars must wear seat belts, according to the Palamuru Police. Adhering to these rules can help prevent accidents, they stated.
The police explicitly warned against overspeeding, negligent driving, and driving under the influence of alcohol. They also cautioned against using mobile phones while driving.
TV9 Telugu reported that the same attention given to travel arrangements during the festive season should also be extended to home security. Police advised those leaving their homes vacant to take adequate precautions.
