Papikondalu boat tours in Polavaram district's Devipatnam mandal have resumed after a suspension of approximately two months. Authorities made this decision as floodwaters in the Godavari River receded, bringing joy to tourists.

For the past two months, boat tours were halted due to the high volume of floodwaters in the Godavari River. Boats remained docked at the Poshamma Gandi boat point for about 72 days.

With the Godavari floodwaters receding, officials have granted permission for Papikondalu pleasure trips to resume. This decision allows tourists to once again enjoy the beauty of Papikondalu.

From Tuesday onwards, Papikondalu boats are operating as usual. Officials have stated that tourists can continue their journeys without any interruptions.

This resumption is good news for tourists from both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. As Papikondalu is a significant tourist destination in the region, it will also boost the local economy.
