Police conducted a swift raid on illegal sand transportation near Jakler in Makthal mandal, Narayanpet district. Five tippers carrying sand without government permits were seized by the police.
The police received credible information that sand was being illegally transported in tippers from Peddavagu in Maganur mandal without any official permissions. Acting on this tip-off, Makthal police set up an ambush near Jakler and launched the operation.
During the raid, police successfully intercepted and seized five tippers that were illegally transporting sand. The impounded vehicles have been moved to the police station.
Sub-Inspector Raju stated that cases have been registered against the accused involved in this incident. He affirmed that strict action would be taken against illegal sand transportation.
