Clashes began in Rayachoti, Annamayya district, from the very first day the nomination process started. Police and officials are taking measures to bring the situation under control.
Following precise information, police identified a Punjab gang. They were taken into custody along with their weapons.
Police arrested a total of four individuals. A revolver, a pistol, and 30 bullets were seized from their possession.
The arrested individuals informed the police that they had come to provide security for a YSRCP candidate.
Police are currently investigating how many more such individuals are present in the area.
