BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Saturday opened the main India headquarters of Random Trees in Hyderabad. The office employs 400 people.
"No interference"
"Be it the State or Central government, there should be no interference in the operations of private companies," KTR said. "Companies providing employment should not be harassed," he added, saying agencies such as the ED, CBI and Income Tax department should not be used against company managements. He said governments should create a supportive climate for business and focus on basics like roads, water supply, streetlights and law and order.
AI as an opportunity
KTR rejected the idea that AI is a threat to jobs and said it will create new ones. "Instead of instilling fear, we should inspire confidence among the youth," he said. He wants Hyderabad to become a global AI hub that draws international data and AI investment. "The future lies in skilling, upskilling and reskilling," he said.
He pointed to the previous BRS government's policies as a model. The state government has not responded to his remarks.
