The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TG RERA) has instructed Hyderabad-based BVR Infra Developers to return Rs 10.95 lakh to two individuals who purchased plots. This directive came after the buyers paid the full amount but did not receive either the plot or a registered sale deed.
TG RERA has also directed its secretary to begin penalty proceedings against the developer. The developer is accused of selling plots in the SV Golden City-III venture, located in Kadthal, Rangareddy district, without the required RERA registration.
The two complainants, M Sheela and Padma Sreeramulu, had agreed to buy Plot No. 28 in the said venture for Rs 10.95 lakh.
They made the full payment in five cash installments between August and December 2022. Despite this, they did not receive the promised plot or its registered sale deed.
