The groundbreaking ceremony for the new Sabhar Dairy Telangana Project, to be constructed in Brahmanpally village, Toopran Mandal, Medak district, was held on October 4, 2026.
Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy, State Labour Minister Vivek Venkatswamy, and Medak MP Raghunandan Rao, along with several officials, attended the event, as reported by V6 Velugu. Union Home Minister Amit Shah participated virtually in the program.
The construction-related activities for the project were conducted in the presence of officials, V6 Velugu stated.
Locals believe that the establishment of the Sabhar Dairy Project will further boost the dairy industry within the Medak district, according to V6 Velugu.
Dairy farmers, in particular, are hoping for improved market opportunities to sell their products. Locals also anticipate an increase in direct and indirect employment opportunities once the dairy project operations commence, V6 Velugu reported.
