Saga Legal has officially opened its new office in Hyderabad, which will be headed by Poojitha Babbepalli, who joins the firm as a Partner. This move is set to significantly expand legal services available to local businesses.
Poojitha Babbepalli is a 2016 graduate of ILS Law College, Pune. She joins Saga Legal from JSA, Hyderabad, and has previously worked with Tatva Legal and Luthra & Luthra, bringing a wealth of experience to her new role.
As a disputes and real estate lawyer, Babbepalli has advised multinational corporations, developers, financial institutions, and infrastructure companies. Her expertise spans various sectors, including real estate, infrastructure, telecom, media and entertainment, healthcare, and manufacturing.
Babbepalli regularly appears before the High Courts of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Bombay. She also represents clients before the National Company Law Tribunal's Hyderabad and Chennai benches, showcasing her extensive litigation experience.
Commenting on her move, Babbepalli noted the rapid growth of the region's economy and the increasing sophistication of legal needs for businesses operating there. She stated that joining Saga Legal allows her to bring her experience to a firm with a national footprint, offering local representation to existing clients and providing regional businesses access to a multi-city team.
