A brother and sister died in a road accident on Sunday afternoon within the Hayathnagar police station limits in Hyderabad. The tragedy occurred during the Bathukamma festival, leaving their family deeply shocked.
The incident took place when Naveen was taking his sister Rekha from Shamshabad to Pedda Amberpet on an Activa scooter. Their scooter was hit by a car.
Naveen and Rekha died on the spot due to the collision. Another child sustained serious injuries and was immediately transported to the hospital.
Police have taken the car driver into custody following the accident. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
