Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar urged the public and farmers to prepare for the natural phenomenon El Nino. He made these remarks on Friday during the distribution of Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak cheques in Vikarabad.
Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar stated that El Nino is impacting countries worldwide, including India. He called for collective efforts from everyone to confront this situation.
The Speaker advised the public and farmers to follow the recommendations and guidance from the people's government and agricultural department officials. He specifically emphasized that farmers should use water sparingly for cultivation.
The Speaker distributed the cheques at the MLA camp office in Vikarabad, accompanied by Municipal Chairperson Gaddam Ananya.
On this occasion, the Speaker promised that Shivsagar Lake in Vikarabad town would be beautified in a manner similar to Hyderabad's Tank Bund.
