Disha daily has reported suspicions of misappropriation of development funds at Nagasamudral Model School in Koheda mandal. Approximately Rs. 2 crores were released in 2023 under the PM Shri scheme for the school's development.
However, Disha daily stated that while no single tea was provided during parents' meetings, accounts show thousands of rupees spent. This indicates a strong suspicion of fund misuse.
Furthermore, Disha daily reported that there are suspicions of eight buses being accounted for when only one bus went for a tour. This further raises doubts about the misuse of funds.
According to Disha daily, officials are evading questions about the fund accounts and maintaining secrecy. The newspaper also mentioned that no response has been given even after Gugulothu Shekhar Naik filed a request under the RTI Act.
