The Telangana Superfast Express train (12723/24), known as the king of the South Central Railway zone, has reached its five-decade milestone, Namasthe Telangana reported. This train connects Secunderabad to New Delhi.

According to Namasthe Telangana, the train began its journey on October 3, 1976, as the Andhra Pradesh Superfast Express between Secunderabad and New Delhi. It has now proudly completed 50 years of service.

In those days, only the Dakshin Express connected Hyderabad to the national capital Delhi, Namasthe Telangana stated. The introduction of the Telangana Express provided another option for travelers.

Namasthe Telangana reported that the train's journey has evolved from steam engines to LHB coaches. It has adopted modern technology over time.

The Telangana Express remains a crucial train for the South Central Railway zone. It continues to provide uninterrupted service from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states to the national capital, offering convenient travel for passengers.
