In light of this situation, authorities are urging all residents to use water judiciously. The Hyderabad metropolitan area alone accounts for approximately 14.5 lakh tap connections.
Officials estimate that if Hyderabad residents conserve just 20% of their daily water usage, it could result in a saving of 30.28 crore liters of water.
Authorities are appealing to every individual across the state to adopt similar water-saving practices. They emphasized that protecting water resources is a collective responsibility.
