Telangana Government Forms Cabinet Sub-Committee on El Nino Impact

The Telangana government has formed a cabinet sub-committee to assess the impact of El Nino and its consequences across the state. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka will head this committee. Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Seethakka, Tummala Nageswara Rao, and Wakiti Srihari have been appointed as members. The Chief Minister's advisor Ramakrishna Rao has been included as a special invitee.

This sub-committee will review the El Nino phenomenon and drought conditions in the state, subsequently recommending appropriate measures. The Planning Department Secretary will serve as the convener for this sub-committee. State Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju issued orders to this effect.
