The Telangana government has decided to organize the Godavari Pushkarams from June 26 to July 7, 2027. The auspicious dates for the event have been finalized.
To oversee the arrangements, the government will establish a special officer's office. This office will be responsible for inspecting works, finalizing estimates, and supervising all preparations for the Pushkarams.
A technical committee and an officials' committee, formed for the Pushkarams, have prepared preliminary budget proposals. These proposals amount to approximately ₹6,000 crore.
These funds are for various works, including the construction of bathing ghats, provision of facilities for devotees, and security arrangements. Preparations will be carried out across all areas along the Godavari river.
