Changes are set to occur within the Telangana State Police Department soon. One hundred twelve newly trained Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), who have completed their training at the Police Academy, are preparing to assume their probationary duties.

These new DSPs will join various units, including Greyhounds, after completing their internal field training. The induction of these new officers will provide relief to departments that have been facing staff shortages.

For a long time, there has been no direct recruitment of DSPs, leading to personnel shortages in the police force. The arrival of these new officers will help address this issue.

The Telangana Police Department is also taking steps to withdraw court cases and resolve disputes. Officials stated that these changes will further strengthen the police system.
