Telangana Sahiti unveiled a special issue on October 19, 2026, to commemorate its tenth anniversary. This publication also marks 25 years of its journey as Sahiti Sravanthi.
The special issue features insights from interviews conducted by poets and writers with 33 renowned poets and authors. Additionally, it includes essays by 100 writers and poems by 82 poets.
Editor K. Anandachari stated that the primary goal of these decade-long celebrations is to reflect on the role literature should play and to foster awareness among the public. He emphasized the need to evaluate the direction of the literary field, the nature of creativity, philosophical viewpoints, thematic diversity, and experimental forms over the past decade.
Prominent writer and critic Telakapalli Ravi shared his perspective, noting that conflict is inevitable when challenges arise for this broad public literary platform, especially with the enthusiasm of the decade.
Another notable poet and critic, Seetaram, in his essay titled 'Poetry is the Lifeblood of Telangana,' mentioned that prose poets have acquired several distinct labels since the formation of Telangana state.
