Police in Rayachoti have arrested ten people after seizing illegal weapons, including revolvers, pistols, and bullets. The arrests occurred during the ongoing local body elections.
Andhra Pradesh Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy commented on the incident, alleging that the arms were imported from other regions to create unrest during the local elections.
Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy accused Gadikota Srikant Reddy of importing these weapons from Delhi, Hyderabad, and Punjab. He stated that these actions were intended to intimidate the public during the election period.
The minister further claimed that Gadikota Srikant Reddy has connections to these weapons. He demanded a comprehensive investigation into the matter and strict action against those responsible.
