Telangana Northern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGNPDCL) has been awarded the 14th Innovation with Impact Award in the DISCOMs category. This recognition highlights the company's initiatives to enhance power supply and improve consumer services.
The award ceremony took place during the 20th India Energy Summit held in New Delhi. Venkatesham accepted the honor on behalf of TGNPDCL.
The award was subsequently presented to Karnati Varun Reddy, the company's chairman and managing director, at TGNPDCL’s corporate headquarters in Nakkalagutta, Hanamkonda, on Saturday.
Reddy stated that the distribution company is actively implementing advanced technologies across its network. These efforts aim to boost the efficiency of power supply and customer support.
Among the technologies adopted are a Real-Time Feeder Monitoring System, SCADA-based monitoring, and continuous assessment of feeder load conditions.
