The Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL) conducted the 'Polam Bata' program on Sunday, October 18, across several rural regions. This initiative aims to enhance services for agricultural power consumers.
As part of the program, electricity department officials, engineers, and field staff visited agricultural fields. They engaged directly with farmers to gather feedback on their concerns and requirements.
Officials reviewed the agricultural power supply situation in these areas. They stated that a key objective of 'Polam Bata' is to bring electricity department services closer to farmers.
The program also focused on identifying technical issues at the field level and exploring solutions to farmers' problems. It covered various sections, sub-divisions, and divisions within TGSPDCL's jurisdiction.
Districts included Vikarabad, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Medak, Sangareddy, Siddipet, Wanaparthy, Gadwal, Yadadri, Medchal, and Suryapet. Officials visited villages like Chowderguda, Chittapur, and Uyyalavada, among others.
They also toured agricultural feeder areas in Nadaimpally, Nijampur, Choutlapally, Puttapally, Thadur, Jangampet, Gummadidala, Kothapally, and Laxmipathigudem to collect farmers' views on power supply.
