TGSPDCL (Southern Discom) conducted its Bastibata program across 21 circles throughout Telangana on Thursday, as reported by V6 Velugu. Through this initiative, officials and staff directly visited bastis, villages, and colonies to inspect and resolve electricity issues.

The program was carried out under the directives of Discom CMD Jitesh V. Patil, prioritizing electricity safety, maintenance, and consumer problem resolution. This included tasks such as transformer maintenance, yard cleaning, removal of tree branches, creeper removal, and repairs to power lines.

Additionally, work was undertaken to resolve low voltage issues, install spacers, and set up new transformers. The program aimed to improve the quality of electricity supply.

In Tuniki Bollaram, within the Siddipet circle, electricity issues were discussed under the supervision of the DE (Operations). V6 Velugu also stated that in the Mulugu sub-division, officials spoke with villagers and received their suggestions.

Electricity work was carried out in areas within the Hyderabad Metro Zone, including Saidabad, Shankarmutt, Langarhouse, Asmangadh, Lalbazar, and Bairamalguda. This benefited consumers in urban areas as well.

This Bastibata program helps in immediately resolving electricity-related problems for the people of Telangana, thereby making better electricity services available to them.
