Vibrant cultural performances enhanced the Gaja Vahana Seva during the Tirumala Brahmotsavams on Saturday. Artists showcased their talent along the Mada streets, performing despite the rains.

Performers from seven states, the Union Territory of Puducherry, and two foreign countries, Qatar and Dubai, participated. A total of 451 artists, organized into 16 troupes, entertained the devotees.

Classical Indian dance forms were highlighted with Bharatanatyam from Qatar and Kuchipudi from Dubai. Regional traditions were represented by Karagattam from Puducherry and Lambadi dance from Andhra Pradesh.

The cultural diversity of India was on display with Lezim from Maharashtra, Kathak from Madhya Pradesh, and Bhangra from Punjab. A devotional dance ballet, Gajendra Moksham from Karnataka, depicted the divine grace and complemented the spiritual significance of the Gaja Vahana Seva.

These performances were presented by four groups each from the Dharma Prachara Parishad, Sri Venkateswara College of Music and Dance, Dasa Sahitya Project, and Annamacharya Project. The TTD Chief Public Relations Officer released these details.
