Lord Malayappa Swamy appeared on the Surya Prabha Vahanam on Sunday morning, marking the seventh day of the ongoing Navaratri Brahmotsavams at Tirumala. Devotees gathered to witness the deity during these celebrations.
The Surya Prabha Vahanam procession is one of the many vehicle services conducted during the Brahmotsavams. It symbolizes the Sun God's control over the universe.
This divine form represents the three Vedas: Rig, Yajur, and Sama. Devotees know this manifestation as Trayimaya, the embodiment of these ancient scriptures.
Lord Malayappa Swamy is also worshipped as Surya Narayana, an embodiment of Lord Narayana. This appearance is believed to bestow blessings upon those who witness it.
Later in the evening, as part of the Brahmotsavams, Lord Malayappa Swamy will appear on the Chandra Prabha Vahanam. The traditional festivities continue at the sacred shrine.
