Two youths drowned in the KTPS canal in Palvancha, Bhadradri Kothagudem district. Thudum Bharat and S.K. Sameer, residents of Ramavaram in Kothagudem, had gone for a recreational swim with friends in the canal. However, due to the unexpected depth of the canal, both young men were submerged and lost their lives, leading to a somber atmosphere in the locality.
Upon receiving information about the incident, police promptly arrived at the scene and recovered the bodies. Authorities have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the drowning. The tragic loss has plunged the families of the deceased into deep sorrow. Locals are urging for measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
