Vigilance officials conducted raids on several rice mills in Jogulamba Gadwal district on Saturday. These inspections are part of an ongoing operation across the erstwhile Mahabubnagar district for the past two days.

The raids were initiated following allegations of irregularities in Custom Milling Rice (CMR) paddy stocks and the delivery of rice to the government.

Vigilance officials are taking seriously the accusations that CMR paddy worth crores of rupees has gone missing. They are investigating the matter thoroughly.

During the inspections, officials are examining paddy stocks, records, and details of rice that was to be delivered to the government in various mills across the district.

It is being said that some mill owners have become unavailable since the vigilance raids began. Authorities are looking into their whereabouts.

Further details regarding these raids and the actions to be taken against those involved in irregularities will be announced soon.
