Warangal Police Commissioner N. Nagamani Malligari announced on October 17 that traffic restrictions would be implemented in the Tri-City area for the upcoming Dasara celebrations at Ursu Ranga Leela Maidan in Warangal. These measures will be in effect from 3 PM on October 20 until 3 AM on October 21.
The Commissioner urged devotees and motorists attending the festivities to cooperate with the police. She also mentioned that special parking arrangements have been made near the celebration grounds.
Heavy vehicles traveling from Khammam towards Karimnagar and Hyderabad via Warangal will be diverted. These vehicles should take the route from Phunnelu Cross through Ainavolu Arch, Venkatapuram, and Karunapuram.
Similarly, police advised vehicles moving from Karimnagar to Khammam to use the route passing through KUC, Peddammagadda, Hanuman Junction, Pochamma Maidan, Kasibugga, Telangana Junction, and Fort Road Junction.
