Police in Rayachoti arrested YSRCP municipal chairman candidate Jinna Sharif. The arrest followed the seizure of two unauthorized firearms and live ammunition from his bouncers.
Authorities discovered that four individuals serving as bouncers for Jinna Sharif were in possession of weapons without proper documentation. The police confiscated two guns and live cartridges from them.
Following the incident, Rayachoti police registered a case under the Arms Act against Jinna Sharif, his son, and a total of 15 bouncers.
Jinna Sharif and all the bouncers involved are currently in police custody. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
