Police have registered a case against YSR Congress Party’s Rajampet MP P.V. Midhun Reddy in connection with the violent clashes that occurred in Punganur during the filing of nominations for local body elections.
Authorities have filed a total of three cases regarding the incidents. Police officials stated that 70 persons involved in the clashes have been identified.
Special teams have been formed to apprehend the accused individuals. These teams are actively pursuing leads and conducting investigations.
The cases were registered on October 17, 2026. Efforts are underway to restore peace and order in Punganur following the disturbances.
