Former India opener Aakash Chopra has discussed Abhishek Sharma's performance in the recent T20I series against the West Indies. Chopra stated that an aggressive batting style often comes with inconsistent returns.
Following the five-match series between India and the West Indies, which ended in a 2-2 tie, Chopra shared his views on Abhishek Sharma's campaign. He highlighted that a batsman maintaining a strike rate near 200 cannot be expected to score big in every game.
Abhishek, known for his attacking approach at the top of the order, did not display his usual consistency in this series. However, Chopra cautioned against making definitive judgments based on a limited number of matches.
Chopra also referenced Abhishek's performances against Afghanistan, suggesting that it is premature to evaluate his form over a short period.
