The inauguration of the IT tower in Adilabad, built at a cost of Rs 50 crore, is facing a prolonged delay. Despite its construction being completed months ago, the facility has not yet been formally opened.

This IT tower was designed with the aim of generating 2,000 jobs. Local engineering graduates had high hopes of securing employment closer to their homes and families.

The then BRS government sanctioned the IT tower in 2023 to create employment opportunities for engineering graduates in the backward district.

The state-of-the-art facility was constructed on 32 acres near Battisavargaon village in Adilabad Rural mandal.

The tower is equipped with modern amenities, including a kitchen and dining hall, to support employees working round the clock.

The continued delay in its inauguration has left job seekers disheartened, with no clear timeline for when the facility will become operational.
