This decision has been formalized through four government orders issued on October 2 and 4. These orders were implemented under the Andhra Pradesh Public Employment Order, 2025, The Times of India reported.
GO Ms No 201, dated October 2, covers specified posts in government schools, while GO Ms No 202 covers Mandal Parishad and Zilla Parishad schools, according to The Times of India.
GO Nos 203 and 204, dated October 4, cover municipal corporation schools and municipal schools, respectively, The Times of India reported.
The orders implement the local-cadre framework that came into force on December 15, 2025. They list the categories of posts covered and identify the appointing authorities for each cadre, The Times of India stated.
The specification of these cadres will bring transparency and streamlining to the school education system in Andhra Pradesh, benefiting teachers and other staff.
