Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have jointly secured the Under-14 boys' title at the National Handball Tournament 2026 (CISCE U-14) which concluded in Hyderabad. Karnataka emerged as the champions in the girls' category, as reported by The Hindu.
The three-day championship was held at Gitanjali Vedika from October 2 to 4. A total of 24 boys' and girls' teams from across the country participated in these competitions.
According to The Hindu, the tournament concluded on Sunday, October 4. These competitions provided a platform for young athletes to showcase their skills.
The finals and closing ceremony were attended by Md., a retired additional commissioner of police and senior national handball player.
This victory is significant for young handball players in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, providing encouragement and contributing to regional sports development.
