World-renowned archer and four-time Asian Games gold medallist Vennam Jyothi Surekha arrived at Gannavaram Airport to a warm welcome from officials and sports enthusiasts.
According to The Hans India, Surekha won a gold medal in the women’s compound archery event at the Asian Games held in Japan.
She also secured a gold medal in the women's compound archery team event at the Asian Games.
After the reception at the airport, she travelled by road to Vijayawada.
Sports enthusiasts from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana gathered in large numbers to congratulate her on her achievement.
This achievement brings pride to the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and serves as an inspiration for young athletes in the region.
