The Dondapadu Premier League (DPL) cricket tournament, a prominent event in Suryapet district, successfully concluded its tenth edition in Dondapadu, Chintalapalem mandal. This tournament has consistently fostered sportsmanship and camaraderie among the village youth.
Organizers extended their appreciation to the industry managements for providing the cricket ground. They noted that this support has been instrumental in the league's continuous success over the past decade.
However, the organizers have now called for the further development of the ground. They emphasized that the facility should benefit all village youth and residents, not just be limited to tournament use.
They requested essential improvements such as leveling the ground, providing drinking water, lighting, and dressing rooms for players. Additionally, they asked for suitable facilities for spectators and suggested enhancing the ground to accommodate other sports besides cricket.
