According to a report by Namasthe Telangana, Dr. N.P. Ravikumar, Librarian at Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University, was unanimously elected as the Secretary of the Association of Agricultural Librarians and Documentalists of India (AALDI) for the 2026-2028 term. He was elected on Saturday. Dr. Ravikumar previously served as the organization's treasurer from 2019 to 2021 and will now take on the role of national secretary. Established in 1971, AALDI has been instrumental in the professional development of agricultural library professionals, documentalists, and information researchers across the country for over five decades.
