Foreign medical students staged a protest in hospitals in Mahbubnagar, demanding the immediate release of their pending stipends. As reported by Andhrajyothy on October 10, these students have been awaiting their stipends.

The protesting students are those who completed their MBBS degrees abroad and subsequently passed the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) in India. According to Andhrajyothy, doctors like Naveen and Bharat spoke about this issue.

Andhrajyothy reported that these students stated they are only being paid five thousand rupees, and even that amount has been pending for nine months. They expressed distress that this sum is insufficient for their needs.

Demanding the immediate release of their stipends, they urged the government to resolve this issue. According to Andhrajyothy, they demanded that the pending stipends be released.

This issue faced by medical students in Mahbubnagar district, Telangana, hinders their financial security and the provision of medical services. The release of pending stipends would provide relief to these students and help them continue their service.
