A foreign university is poised to establish its first campus in Telangana, with plans to welcome its inaugural batch of students by August 2027. This will mark the first campus of a foreign university in the state.
According to The Times of India, the university has not yet finalized the location for its campus. A source indicated that they were awaiting a Letter of Intent (LoI) from the Union government, and now that it has been issued, the location will be locked soon.
Initially, the campus will offer programs in business, computing, engineering, and analytics. These initial offerings aim to provide a strong foundation in key contemporary fields.
Additional programs have also been proposed to the University Grants Commission (UGC) for approval. These are expected to be introduced from the second year onwards, further expanding the academic choices available to students.

It offers local students access to global standard education without needing to travel abroad, enhancing the region's educational landscape.
