In Chandrugonda, Bhadradri district, a government primary school's premises became unhygienic due to overgrown weeds and accumulated debris. Students and teachers expressed concerns about mosquitoes, snakes, and scorpions entering the school grounds.

According to Namasthe Telangana, the school's headmaster repeatedly informed panchayat officials and staff about the issue, requesting their intervention. However, these requests went unheeded.

With no response from the panchayat officials, the headmaster took matters into his own hands. He personally entered the school grounds and sprayed weedicide to clear the area.

This initiative led to the removal of the overgrown weeds and accumulated waste, creating a cleaner environment within the school premises. This action ensured a safer learning environment for the students.

Namasthe Telangana reported that this incident occurred on October 3. The headmaster's proactive approach highlights the negligence of local government bodies.

This event underscores the importance of cleanliness and maintenance in schools across Telangana. It also shows that when local bodies fail to fulfill their responsibilities, heads of educational institutions may need to take direct action.
