IIT Hyderabad launched a book donation drive on October 18, aiming to build a one million book library. The institution seeks to create a vast knowledge resource through this initiative.
The drive accepts books related to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), as well as humanities. Books in all languages, including Telugu, are welcome.
Book lovers, authors, researchers, and academicians are encouraged to participate in this program. The initiative is being conducted under the aegis of the Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC).
Palm-leaf manuscripts, ancient written texts, rare books, out-of-print books, and personal book collections are also being accepted as part of this donation drive.
