Kakatiya University (KU) in Hanamkonda plans to introduce an AI-enabled curriculum aligned with future needs, Telangana Today reported. This move is part of reforms initiated in education, research, and technology.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Pratap Reddy unveiled these plans while speaking at the Research, Education and Advancement Conclave (REACH-2026), organized by the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) at JNTUH in Hyderabad.
The university aims to develop KU as a nodal center for higher education institutions in North Telangana over the next five years. This initiative is expected to benefit around 2,000 students.
Kakatiya University also plans international programs, research expansion, and industry partnerships. These initiatives are designed to provide students and researchers with global opportunities.
The move is aimed at providing students, particularly those from rural and Tier-II regions, with global opportunities in education, research, and technology. This could enable the university to emerge as an institution of international academic and research standards, as noted by Telangana Today.
This initiative by Kakatiya University is significant for students in Telangana, especially those in the North Telangana region, as it will provide them with modern educational opportunities and prepare them for future job markets.
