Kuchipudi, Andhra Pradesh's classical dance form, was performed at Walt Disney World. Students of California's Sahithi Kuchipudi Kala Kshetram gave two performances at the Diwali Dance Festival 2026 in Orlando, Florida.

The performance

  • The school's artistic director is Dr Sahithi Latha Bhandari.
  • Telugu Times reports that Anusha portrayed Lord Shiva and Aryavir portrayed Lord Krishna in a dance drama with lyrics by Jonnavithula and music by Ramachari.
  • The group performed Tarangam, the traditional dance on the rim of a brass plate, in costumes of Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, Radha and Lord Krishna.
  • NRI2NRI reports a 15-minute continuous performance on Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom.
  • Telugu Times puts the audience at over 1,600.

NRI2NRI says the group prepared for a year and paid its own way. Artists from the UK, Australia and the Caribbean also performed at the festival.
