A2H Chess Academy in Kukatpally, Hyderabad, will organize open rapid and blitz chess tournaments on October 21. The events will feature a total prize pool of Rs 30,000 for the winners.
These tournaments are open to chess players of all ages and skill levels. Both rated and unrated players, as well as newcomers, are welcome to participate.
Each competition will consist of six rounds, following the Swiss league format. The latest rules set by the International Chess Federation (FIDE) will be applied.
In the rapid chess event, each player will have 15 minutes for their moves, with an additional five seconds added per move.
For the blitz chess event, players will receive five minutes each, along with a two-second increment per move.
The tournaments will take place at the A2H Academy campus, providing an opportunity for local players to compete and demonstrate their skills.
