The award ceremony took place with grandeur at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad. Sambasiva Rao formally received his award during this event.
Gaddar's daughter, Vennelakka, presented the award to Sambasiva Rao. The recognition highlights the filmmaker's contribution to promoting local culture.
